What is situational Awareness?
Situational Awareness refers to the direct knowledge of conditions and circumstances surrounding operations or assets. It prepares personnel to face unprecedented security challenges and threats. Situational Awareness is especially important with the increased level of threats faced by organizations and “at-risk individuals”. It focuses more on optimizing the capacity of the security and tactical team to pre-empt threats and vulnerabilities and how to respond to such threats effectively.
