Course description
What will I learn?
This course is for extremely keen photographers who have a firm grasp of the basics, and want to build on their knowledge further. By the end of the course you should have one or more images you are really proud of, and even used in a portfolio. You will learn: How light quality and direction affects photos; Benefits of RAW images and how to process them; Common studio lighting setups, including portraits; Using the histogram to judge exposure and during processing. We may be inviting in a guest speaker in Week 10, either Carl Court, a staff photographer at Getty Images, or Carmen Valino, a successful freelance photographer. They will show a selection of their images, talk about the stories behind them, and what it's like working as a professional photographer.
