As an Events Director, Antonia collaborates with a number of creative professionals from production houses to artists for the creation of high-end, immersive physical and digital events. Guest lecturer Steve Sacks, President Europe of the Advisory Board of the Arts (ABA), will share insights on the performing arts industry and its post-pandemic challenges, supported by real-life case examples of innovative approaches employed by organizations worldwide.

The course culminates in a significant assignment focused on developing an action plan for personal and professional growth, utilising your new skills to make a positive impact on your ventures, and expand your career.

Training Course Content

Day 1: The Creative Industries: Market, Impact, and Innovation - Gain an in-depth introduction to the creative economy and the issues defining the creative industries, including latest trends and the impact of innovation such as AI, blockchain, and the Metaverse. Join an art exhibition specialist to explore the practicalities of strategy, budgeting, operations, and sustainability.

Day 2: Designing a Business - Explore different business models and how to create a business blueprint, with particular focus on creating, capturing, and delivering value. Be guided on how to generate possibilities and design a winning strategy, by identifying barriers and testing and prototyping.

Day 3: Building a Brand - Delve further into all aspects of developing a brand – including brand value, positioning, identity, and voice – and take part in activities to hone your skills. Join an industry leader to discover how AI can empower creativity, by exploring possibilities at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the creative industries.

Day 4: Leading High-Performing, Creative Teams - Explore the psychology of creativity and discover how to master different leadership styles and competencies that can impact the creative product. Gain an exclusive insight from a leading voice in the performing arts as they show you how to identify breakthrough solutions and achieve lasting success.

Day 5: Sustaining an Enduring Creative Career - Hear from an influential creative director on how to be a business leader in the advertising and creative services sector. Learn how to lead for innovation through goal-driven organization design and people management. Discover the stages of team development, and learn how to find and keep the best talent and coach for performance.
