Course description
The French Advanced course will develop language for French speakers who want to participate in lively, engaging conversations on a wide variety of topics in French. The course is designed for confident French speakers.
Content
Whilst enrolled upon the course, you will discuss a range of themes and issues drawn from culture, and topical news, including:
- France
- The Francophone world
- French culture (food, film, books, business etc.)
- Famous French figures
- Languages and identity
The course is assessed via
Optional assessments take place every 3-weeks and you will receive a certificate listing topics studied and marks achieved in each of the assessments at the end of the course.
Award
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance, issued by St Mary’s University.
