Course description
5 day course: All co-operants in petroleum exploration and production require a comprehensive understanding of the geopolitical, legislative, contractual and regulatory matters that inform today's oil industry. Host Governments, private landowners, International and National Oil Companies and host communities affected by the licensing process are at the forefront of these issues which today include the impact of Islamic Law and the recognition of indigenous people's rights.
Presenter Mr Bunter has identified a number of new challenges to upstream petroleum licensing that will confront petroleum professionals in the years to come. These will be discussed in detail.
