Promoting Sexual Health OMED-1258

These Level 6 & 7 modules are available, online via e-learning, as stand-alone modules for professionals working or intending to work in fields of practice where the promotion of sexual health and well-being are important. They are delivered concurrently but have different respective outcomes and assessment.

Promoting sexual health can be taken as a stand-alone Associate Student module, or as an option module for students on a range of courses, including PGDip in Enhanced Clinical Practice.

These modules provide the opportunity to explore the complex relationships between sexual health and a range of personal, social, environmental and political opinions and influences, and recognise the significance of these, in shaping positive sexual health promotion. You will critically examine the issues of sexual health, sexual ill health and sexual abuse highlighting political and legal issues and implications for clients and professionals.
