Beauty Therapy City & Guilds Level 3 VRQ Diploma
Expand your practical beauty skills, build your beauty career, and achieve an internationally recognised qualification on the Beauty Therapy Level 3 course.

Suitability - Who should attend?
You must have completed the Beauty Therapy Level 2 Diploma.
You will also need five or more GCSEs at grades 4 9 (A* C), including English and maths, or a Functional Skills qualification.>

You should have good references, be creatively ambitious and be willing to accept new challenges.
Applicants will be invited to attend an interview and complete an internal assessment. All students will have their literacy and numeracy needs supported within the programme.
It is essential to purchase personal equipment and salon work wear costing approximately £150. You may be able to access a course costs bursary for a contribution towards your costs.

Training Course Content
What you'll learn
You will develop the following skills:
- Working with colleagues within the beauty-related industries
- Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
- Client care and communication in beauty-related industries
- Promote and sell products and services to clients
- Provide body massage
- Provide massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils
- Provide facial and body electrotherapy treatments
- Apply microdermabrasion
From your work placement you may learn about supervising, salon management and also salon finance and business management.
You will learn from experienced staff in our modern salons using the latest equipment. You will observe demonstrations and learn through student participation to develop practical skills and competency. You will develop your knowledge through e-learning systems and by traditional teaching methods.
Continuing Studies
Upon successful completion, you will be in a position to start work or progress to further studies.
