Course description

Practice in Contraception and Sexual Reproductive healthcare is a CPD course offered by Anglia Ruskin University from its Essex and Cambridgeshire campuses. It addresses the training and educational needs of nurses who are seeking practical training in emergency contraception, contraceptive methods and sexually transmitted infections.

Applicants must previously have completed the theory based module Issues in Contraception and Sexual Reproductive Healthcare.

Students will be required to complete a skills inventory in order to demonstrate achievement of the learning outcomes and clinical expertise. This should be supported by evidence from the reflective diary and learning contract within the portfolio.
