Course description

Introduction to Adobe InDesign - 2-day course for beginners

This 2-day Introduction to Adobe InDesign course provides delegates with the essential knowledge required to understand and use the powerful capabilities of InDesign.

The course provides a solid grounding in page layout skills, teaching delegates how to make effective, confident use of the software's key features in order to produce professional-standard pages quickly. The mode of delivery combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice.

Armada is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC), run  by Adobe Certified Instructors (ACIs) and Adobe Certified Experts (ACEs) in InDesign. 

Self-funders can spread the cost over 12 months, interest-free.

Suitability - Who should attend?

Introduction to Adobe InDesign training is suitable for newcomers to InDesign and novice users with a small amount of InDesign experience.

No previous InDesign knowledge is necessary, and the course suits Windows and Mac users alike.

Outcome / Qualification etc.

Adobe InDesign e-Certificate

Upon completion of the course, delegates receive an e-certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed Introduction to Adobe InDesign training.

Training venue

This Introduction to InDesign training course is hosted at our centres in Bromsgrove (near Birmingham), Bristol, Milton Keynes, Reading and Sheffield.

For our Bromsgrove courses, we offer a free taxi service from Central Birmingham to our training centre.

Delegates can enjoy fantastic facilities at our centres, with lunch and refreshments included.

Some useful material, but not all of relevance immediately. It would have been nice to create some original pages and to integrate the learning. I felt a bit behind at times as others in the class had some experience of the program and of illustrator. Felt I was slowing them down. The course was incredibly informative. It has made the way in which I interacted with the InDesign software much more effective and I am now able to see the extent of the software's capabilities and I cant wait to put it all in to practice!
