AutoCAD Plant 3D Essentials - Virtual Classroom Training
The essential skills of how to create 3D Process Plant models using the tools provided by AutoCAD Plant 3D will be taught. On the second and third day trainees will delve deeper into not only the graphical ease of use of the program, but also into the generation of deliverable drawings and the production of Bills of Materials and other project deliverables.
The trainees will learn how to create their own Piping Specifications, how to create and modify drawing templates for General Arrangement and Isometric Fabrication Drawings and how to maintain the AutoCAD Plant 3D project environment.

Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for new users of AutoCAD Plant 3D.
Ideally, the trainee should have a good working knowledge of a recent version of AutoCAD, preferably in a 3D modelling environment. Knowledge of Process and Instrumentation diagrams is recommended but not essential, however it will make the course easier to follow if the trainee possesses some basic knowledge of the process industry or piping industry practice.

On successful completion of this training course, users will be presented with an Autodesk Authorised Training Certificate.
Objectives
The objective of this course is to provide trainees with a comprehensive overview of the capabilities of the AutoCAD Plant 3D application from Autodesk Plant Solutions. During this 3 day course trainees will learn how to create 3D Process Plant models using AutoCAD Plant 3D and produce essential project deliverables to their company standards.
