Employment law regulates the relationship between employers and employees. It governs what employers can expect from employees, what employers can ask employees to do, and employees' rights at work.

This course provides you with a very high-level overview of employment law in England and Wales and explores the breadth of employment law and how it influences work in these countries, particularly people management.

The programme has been created by Kate Shepherd, who is a CIPD Associate responsible for delivering courses on UK employment law, together with the CIPD's experts.
