Course description
Going freelance is an option many of us have considered, but we often hold back for different reasons: we might be fearful of the unknown, about finances, or how it’ll feel to be our own boss. This freelance course covers the practicalities and mental health elements of going freelance, looking at goal setting, building a business aligned to your values and being a happy ‘solopreneur’. The training will give you the extra boost of confidence you need as well as myriad practical tips on moving into freelance life with confidence, led by experienced freelancer and coach Jenny Stallard.
Choosing to be your own boss is always easier when you’re prepared – physically and mentally. The training given on this freelancing course will help you do just that, thanks to written exercises and discussions around the realities and challenges of freelancing as well as the positives, too.
With the pandemic throwing many of us into furlough, or the working-from-home situation making us think we could strike out on our own, many are wondering about freelancing as a next step. But is it for you? This freelance course will help you confirm that decision.
With a friendly approach to freelancing, the training on the course will help build your confidence as well as your plans to network and build a successful business.
This course is ideal for anyone who is either considering a move to freelancing, is thinking about taking redundancy and setting up on their own or choosing a ‘side hustle’ that might one day be a business.
