Immigration Law is a widely discussed topic – and a consideration within all workplaces. Our 10-week Immigration and Asylum Law course, taught by a professional lawyer, provides in-depth knowledge of immigration law today.
Our Immigration law course covers a broad range of areas and applies these to practical and real case scenarios, similar to those dealt with by immigration lawyers.
You will examine refusal letters and case determinations in order to understand the decision-making process and discuss evidence that can demonstrate intention.
This short course may be beneficial as a taster for those considering studying a degree in Law as it will provide a taster before committing further.
Taught at introductory level, the Immigration Law course is ideal for those wishing to understand the legalities of immigration and asylum issues, for professional or personal reasons.
Course delivery details
Assessment and certificates
In this immigration and asylum law course, your tutor will encourage you to engage in discussion on individual topics. There are no formal assessments, but you will be involved in group discussion, classroom activities and questions and answers sessions as guided by your tutor.
You'll be awarded an official City, University of London certificate if you attend at least 70% of the lessons, however, our short courses are not formally accredited.
