This Level 4 Award in Managing Food Safety course provides participants at senior managerial level with an advanced understanding of the risks and hazards present in any food handling & preparation environment, as well as the controls needed to manage them effectively.
The comprehensive 6-day programme covers a number of different areas, from aspects of bacteriology and food poisoning to the cleaning & disinfection of equipment. The goal is to give candidates an in-depth insight into how food can become contaminated, as well as a solid understanding of specific food safety management procedures that should be in place in any food business. This is accompanied by a thorough overview of the relevant legislation and the controls necessary to ensure compliance.
