4 GCSEs at grade 2 (grade E) or above including English and maths. You will have a College interview and initial assessment and references will be taken up.
Training Course Content
Course units include:
- Health and safety
- Removing and refitting components
- Removing and replacing engine components
- Carrying out basic vehicle tasks.
Course delivery details
You will be assessed on theory and practical work and build a portfolio of evidence and knowledge.
Continuing Studies
You can progress to further your knowledge with a Level 2 course in vehicle maintenance.
