Course description
Breakaway techniques are vital manoeuvres used by a member of staff to break away from a potentially violent person without harming him or her.
This 1-day classroom training course provides a range of simple, effective skills and legal knowledge which helps people safely disengage themselves from aggressive situations. Each session comprises of a comprehensive mix of theory and physical skills.

- Warning + danger signs
- Challenging behaviour

- Actions to avoid being restrained or attacked
- Safely disengage from wrist grabs, body grabs, hair / clothing grabs + strangulation
- Avoid + defend kicks / punches

- Record keeping + de-briefing
