Leadership Skills Training

In the ever changing world of the UK Grocery industry, leaders can struggle to make good decision, to keep up with the pace of change and to help their teams navigate the minefield of supermarket engagement. This programme is CPD accredited.

The course consists of 2+1 classroom days, 6 months apart with support in between these days. Making Business Matter uses Sticky Learning, a unique training method delivered by a world-class tutor that has a wealth of experience in the UK Grocery Industry.

This course is designed for the challenging demands of large UK supermarkets and provides leaders with the skills to handle tough performance conversations and being clear on what is expected, become more confident, and be able to lead a team that understands and buys into their vision.

Learning objectives

Leaders will be able to:

  • Understand themselves and others using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI).
  • Develop the skill of providing and receiving effective feedback.
  • Set clear and meaningful performance expectations.
  • Lead challenging performance and coaching conversations.
  • Deliver a leadership vision and receive feedback on their personal impact.
  • Identify a current delegation opportunity and receive coaching on their approach.
