Course description
This short webinar with employment law specialist Kathy Daniels will discuss the definition of belief and will examine a range of case law to explore what is, and is not, found to be a belief as defined by the Equality Act 2010. Consideration will also be given to guidelines on how to manage potential discrimination on the grounds of belief.
Kathy is a widely published author, and Associate Pro-Vice Chancellor (Engagement) and Professor at Aston University where she also lectures at postgraduate and undergraduate level in employment law. She writes and trains extensively for the Chartered Institute for Personnel and Development. She is a lay member of the Employment Tribunal, sitting in Birmingham.
