Legal aid very high cost cases concerning applications for care orders and supervision orders are automatically subject to the Care Case Fees Scheme (Events), where the instructed solicitor, and in some cases counsel, is paid a fixed fee per ‘event’ in the case.

This 1-hour webinar will provide you with both an introduction to using this scheme and a more detailed understanding of the various scenarios that can occur. You will be able to ensure that you are paid everything the scheme offers.

Presenter Paul Seddon will explore the cases that CCFS apply to and when, when a fixed event fee is triggered in the case and when it is not, maintaining cash flow during the case, what counsel gets paid, and much more.

This webinar will provide you with both an introduction to using this scheme and a more detailed understanding of the various scenarios that can occur and how to ensure that you are paid everything the scheme offers.
