Course description

Neurodiversity refers to the different ways the brain can work and interpret information. It is estimated that around 1 in 7 people (more than 15% of people in the UK) are neurodivergent.

Under the Equality Act 2010 any organisation has a legal obligation to make reasonable adjustments to the workplace that will remove or minimise any disadvantage to them. Taking steps to better support neurodiversity in the workplaces can also be hugely beneficial for employers and employees.

Positive attributes commonly associated with neurodivergent employees include creativity and innovation, lateral thinking, enhanced strategic analysis, development of highly specialised skills and consistency in tasks once mastered.

Presented by Dr Adam Reece, who has over thirty years' experience as a speaker and presenter of mental health issues within the workplace, this webinar will provide a succinct guide to the key issues.
