What is a restrictive covenant? Why do they exist, and how are they used? Presented by expert barrister Daniel Bromilow, this live and interactive session is designed as an in-depth guide to restrictive covenants on land, from creation to discharge, and will address the practical issues.


It will take delegates through the creation of covenants, including the formalities, parties and building schemes, along with issues that arise in relation to the enforcement of covenants and their interpretation. The session will also look at when covenants will lapse or be extinguished, and how they can be modified or discharged by an application to the Lands Tribunal.
