Led by Mathew Purchase KC, this virtual classroom seminar will provide employment practitioners with a masterclass in drafting, enforcing, and litigating restrictive covenants.


Topics discussed will include identifying the legitimate interest which requires protection (trade secrets, clients, the workforce, others?), identifying the nature of the restriction (non-solicitation, non-dealing, non-competition, confidentiality), and reasonableness. Clear and effective drafting will also be explored in detail, along with enforcing and avoiding restrictive covenants (including making and responding to interim relief applications, pre-action steps and without notice applications, disclosure, costs, and more).
