Course description

Many family practitioners find their practice touches upon the Court of Protection or seek to broaden their practice to include the jurisdiction but lack confidence to do so.

This webinar will appraise you fully of the practice in the Court of Protection, which can feel alien to what we are used to in the family court. You will be provided with practical tips to enable you to be fully equipped to navigate the procedure, find the law you need and deal comfortably with common issues that may arise in practice.

It is presented by expert barrister Catherine Ellis, who regularly undertakes work in the Court of Protection and has particular expertise of cases concerning welfare decisions, as well as experience of cases involving jurisdictional issues.
