Course description

This virtual classroom seminar will use case studies to consider the main issues which typically arise in family context cohabitation cases: sole name cases; joint names cases; and ‘bank of mum and dad’ cases. The live session is designed to get you thinking about the key issues and building blocks of a ToLATA case.

It will leave you informed and with greater confidence to deal with ToLATA issues in your caseload, whether in the context of intervenor claims in family proceedings or as pure stand-alone civil proceedings between unmarried cohabitees.

Join Greg Williams, a highly experienced barrister who specialises in ToLATA claims, as he discusses key topics such as the common intention constructive trust, how to find an implied trust, key sections of the legislation which are likely to arise in every-day practice, and much more.
