The law surrounding wills and probate is ever-changing, producing constant new challenges for those who work in this area. One in four probates are now contested, therefore it is important that you are aware of the latest issues that will impact on how you advise your clients.


This webinar is aimed at anyone who prepares wills and advises on administration of estates and inheritance tax.


Presented by leading trainer Julie Bell, the topics discussed will include online applications using MyHMCTS, when paper applications are compulsory, and the reduced reporting requirements for IHT from 1 January 2022. Adding value when no IHT205 is required will also be discussed, along with risks with unpaid IHT, capacity and the ‘golden rule’, what to take into consideration with regard to renouncing, and more.
