As we all know, time is a very expensive commodity so the time we spend with our teams, working groups or in one-to-one sessions where actions are required are opportunities that should not be wasted. it is essential the time is spent productively whilst still maintaining effective relationships. Developing the skills, knowledge and understanding of the tools and techniques that will support your facilitated sessions is an excellent way of delivering real outcomes.

The course focuses on giving the participants not only the Tools and Techniques to help get the most out of any facilitated session but also the opportunity to practice these and develop confidence in facilitating any session. The course also looks at some of the key skills needed by facilitators.

Training Course Content
- Exploring what is facilitation and when it could/should be used, including the benefits of effective facilitation.
- Identify and discuss the skills needed to facilitate effectively.
- Introduce some of the Tools and Techniques associated with facilitation, an opportunity to consider and practice the different approaches in a safe and fun environment.
- Learn how to organise and run facilitated sessions, considering issues such as timing, tools to use, audience needs, resources and desired outcomes.
- Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to share your experiences of the good and not so good, facilitated sessions you have been involved in.
The whole day is managed as a facilitated session and the trainer will demonstrate through actions the skills, tools and techniques discussed in the programme brief.
