French BeginnerSt Mary's University, Centre for Short Courses & CPD
The French Beginner course will build a foundation of knowledge and understanding of vocabulary and grammar for communication. The course is designed for you if you have little or no experience of learning the French language.
During the course, you will study the following topics, to build upon your understanding of everyday language:
- Describing yourself
- French around the world
- Talking about the weather
- Finding your way around town
- Ordering food and drink
- Cultural elements (songs/stories/traditions)
The course is assessed via
Optional assessments take place every 3-weeks and you will receive a certificate listing topics studied and marks achieved in each of the assessments at the end of the course.
Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a certificate of attendance, issued by St Mary’s University.
