Course description
This course provides a qualification in health and safety for managers, training you to apply sound management principles to safety and health issues as part of a total management strategy, in accordance with current legislation.

You should be working in a role as a manager or team leader, with an element of your role focused on health and safety of staff.

The following topics will be covered, an overview of managing safely, accident investigation and monitoring performance trends, risk assessment and control measures, the legal framework for health and safety at work, proactive monitoring for a safer workplace and safety management systems and the audit.
Course delivery details
You are required to complete two assessments; one will take place during the course, the other will consist of a project based on hazards in your place of work which is to be submitted within?one week?of completion of the course.
