Course description

Overview

The legal services market is becoming increasingly competitive, with new entries into the market as well as new initiatives by established law firms. Managing any kind of commercial practice requires strong analytical skills but also a high level of emotional intelligence. This course covers law firm accounts, client care and people management to give a comprehensive guide to all of these skills. This highly interactive workshop will inspire delegates to take a real interest in business and management and go on to contribute to the financial and leadership success of their firm.

This course will be of benefit to trainee lawyers and will provide a thorough grounding in the commercial and managerial aspects of a legal practice. This course will be of benefit to trainees who wish to further develop their understanding of law firm finance issues, business development and management issues. This course will be of particular relevance to those aiming to become a partner or to set up their own practice.
