Course description

The significant interest in more flexible forms of working means that employers need to prepare for an increased demand in hybrid working. However, a hybrid offering must be carefully scoped and managed to ensure it is effective for the organisation as well as individuals.

Whilst the topic of flexible working is fundamental to all people practitioners, there is no one-size-fits-all approach. This course explores the what, why and how of hybrid working and what it means for both organisational culture and the physical workplace. Learners will develop an awareness of the evidence needed to build a business case for transitioning to new ways of working and recognise areas of people management that may need adjusting.

This Essential Insights course has a broad appeal to those in the people profession as well as those working outside it. Developed by author of HR for Hybrid Working, Gary Cookson, it imparts the very latest thinking and real-world examples to demonstrate lessons learned by other organisations.

All CIPD Learning courses will automatically provide you with access to the CIPD Learning Hub, our online learning platform, for 24 months.
