Course description

Hybrid work is one form of flexible working, representing significant change for organisations as well as people professionals and their activities. At scale it is relatively new, but demand and interest are growing. To implement hybrid working successfully, people professional and practitioners need to consider how it influences all stages of the employee lifecycle, as well as inclusion and wellbeing.

This introductory course will help people professionals recognise the benefits, challenges and risks relating to hybrid work. It covers the specific changes to practices that might be required, key success factors and how to take the first steps in reflecting on one’s own organisation’s thoughts and practices.

Written by Gemma Dale, author of How to Work Remotely and Flexible Work, the programme uses evidence and research-based content to present the current context of hybrid work, the different ways that hybrid is being implemented and the potential impact on organisational culture and employee engagement.

Throughout the course, you’ll be encouraged to take part in reflective activities to help embed your learning into your day-to-day practice. You can also access a community of peers where you can share knowledge and experience with others, whilst developing connections. As part of this learning experience you will have access to one live webinar. Webinars are scheduled twice per calendar year so you'll have two dates to choose from
