Springboard Development Plus for Female Leaders Overview

Development Plus is an innovative and specialised course, for both personal and work development, tailored for female leaders so they can overcome the invisible barriers that can prevent them from rising to senior positions in their organisations.

Written specifically for women by women, it was originally commissioned by the UK Home Office. It provides women with the skills, knowledge, support, ideas and determination to continue up the ladder.

The course recognises the realities of senior women’s lives and is tailored to the culture and needs of the client organisation and its senior women.

The Development Plus course will allow your organisation to:

  • Capitalise on your own in-house talent, thus reducing senior recruitment costs
  • Build a sustainable and diverse talent pipeline whilst taking positive action to counterbalance the lack of women at very senior levels.

Development Plus for senior female leaders and aspiring professional women is delivered by our sister company Springboard Consultancy.

The programme is composed of 6 one day workshops delivered on-site or 12 half day workshops delivered virtually. Delivery can be tailored to suit the organisation and will be discussed further.

Springboard Development Plus Delivery

Delivery for the Development Plus programme consists of:

  • 6 x 1 day workshops if delivered face to face over 6 months. Remotely, the programme will be split into 12 x 3.5 hour sessions over 6 months.
  • Comprehensive course folder.
  • Work-based developmental project.
  • Inspiring guest speakers.
  • A support system, for example, coaching partners and/or mentors.
    Mentoring support appropriate to aspirations and career goals.
  • Self-managed action learning sets/coaching groups.
  • Emotional Intelligence self-assessment and coaching.
