About Us

CSA Learning* is an award-winning learning and development specialist and an Approved Apprenticeship Training Provider. We support employers across England to train, improve and assess their workforces in our specialist areas of credit and collections, governance, compliance, counter-fraud, trading standards and debt advice.   

Our experienced team of industry practitioners, which combines training, coaching and assessment excellence, has been successfully delivering apprenticeship programmes since 2017.

Our experts guide learners and their line managers/mentors through every apprenticeship from enrolment through to the independent End Point Assessment.

National Training

We provide training on behalf of employers across the UK.

Our apprenticeship programmes are typically delivered online, via Zoom or Teams, which means we can accommodate individual learners from different industries and all corners of the country. Our employers and apprentices appreciate the flexibility of online learning and develop a deep understanding of good practice in their own workplace and a broad appreciation of other sectors.

For groups of 6 or more from one or associated organisations, we can offer on-site Workshop delivery and a closed cohort status which gives the employer flexibility with regard to start dates and allows us to tailor the Workshop content to suit both the learners and the business.

Regular Intakes

Each apprenticeship programme will typically have three intakes each year so employers have the flexibility to start learners at a time that works for everyone.

Support

Our small cohort sizes mean that all learners have the full support they need throughout the duration of the apprenticeship. One to ones, tri-party progress meetings and ad hoc support are all provided by a dedicated, experienced coach.

Tailoring

Small cohorts allow CSA Learning’s Tutors to tailor the ‘off the job’ coursework, assignments and tasks to suit both the learner and their department which means the apprentice’s input is relevant, keeps them focused and has real tangible benefits to the business overall.

Highly Rated

We have achieved a Good rating from Ofsted for apprenticeship training provision. In 2022 Ofsted praised the CSA’s delivery to over 200 apprentices across seven apprenticeship programmes, stating “a culture of high expectations, characterised by ambitious curriculum content, high standards of integrity and professional behaviour, and effective support for apprentices, staff and employers. Apprentices are prepared well for their whole careers, not just for their current jobs.”

Funding

Levy-paying employers in England can fund 100% of each apprentice’s training through the Government Apprenticeship Levy.**

If an employer does not have sufficient Levy funds or is not a Levy-payer (ie has an annual pay bill of less than £3 million) then 5% of the apprenticeship cost is paid to the training provider to contribute towards the apprentice’s training.**

Apprenticeships can be also be funded by a levy paying employer transferring up to 25% of their unused levy to a different employer.

Transferred funds are used to pay for 100% of the training and assessment costs of the apprenticeship up to the funding band maximum.

Transferred funds cover the cost of the whole duration of the apprenticeship.
