Unique to Leadership Trust, our flagship training programme, Leadership in Management, provides a rare opportunity to build a heightened sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence to address the challenges facing today’s leaders.

At the heart of our leadership and management programme is the fundamental belief that to lead others you must first know yourself. This immersive, high-impact training course provides a safe environment where delegates can push the boundaries of their leadership skills and observe how their behaviours, and those of others, impact.

We don’t teach people how to lead, we create the opportunity for them to work it out for themself.

About the Leadership in Management programme  

Aimed at mid-level and senior managers, Leadership in Management runs over a 12-month period with predetermined dates throughout the year. This time frame includes a 5.5-day, high-impact residential session with up to 21 other participants, plus a follow-up online workshop and full learning support.

Our Methodology

We do not teach; we engineer experiences that reflect key challenges leaders will face in the workplace and enable learning by experience. Under pressure, default behaviours occur. Our approach to leadership is experiential learning, combining intellectual understanding with emotional appreciation. We believe this approach allows for the maximum learning output.

A life-changing experience

Be prepared to undergo an emotional journey and begin to uncover more of yourself through a range of different mediums designed to support self-awareness and discovery. Receiving direct and honest feedback from peers throughout, this personal, transformative learning experience creates a continuous cycle of growth and that can be applied to both your personal and professional life.

Learning Support

While the core component remains the 5.5-day residential element, the Leadership in Management programme runs over 12 months to support delegates embed their learning into their daily lives. Through this time, our dedicated Learning Success team provides a number of supplementary learning touch points, before and after the residential, to ensure delegates get the most from their experience.

Expenses

The course fee is £8,000 + VAT

The core component of the programme is a 5.5-day residential course at our training venue in the Hertfordshire countryside. Delegates will join a cohort of up to 22 participants and will work in teams of 6 to 8 people along with a team faculty member to facilitate.

Accommodation and Meals

Participant’s accommodation and all meals are covered during the residential course and all costs are included in the programme fee. Accommodation are meals are also included on the Sunday evening before the course commences as there’s an early start on the Monday morning.
