Course description

The planning system has been in a constant state of change in the last decade in response to the need to promote housing growth and the continued influence of localism which has increased public interest and participation in planning decision making.


This live and interactive online session with expert speaker Bob Pritchard will give you an understanding of the essential principles and concepts that underpin the planning system including who makes the decisions; how these decisions are made; what works and uses require planning permission; how development is regulated and the consequences of breaching planning controls. Future developments and topical issues will also be considered.
