This live 1 hour session presented by Aarti Thakor will provide a snapshot of the scope and purpose of the Charity Commission’s regulation, the current charity sector landscape and the legal framework as it relates to charities.
Aarti is a barrister and mediator who is currently Director of Legal Services at the Charity Commission. Previously holding the role of Head of Legal Compliance advising the Commission's Investigations and Enforcement Directorate on the highest risk and most complex investigations into charities, she brings significant practical experience to legal issues in the charity sector.
