Course description
Most of the significant changes to the welfare benefits system during the past ten years have been aimed at people of working age. One result has been an increase in the number of differences between benefit for those of working age and those who are older; but there have been knock-on effects on benefits for older people, which coupled with changes particularly to disability benefits and the state retirement pension have significantly changed the landscape for older people. There has been further consideration over the future of the state retirement pension.
Presented by leading expert Alan Robinson, this webinar provides a reminder of the main qualifying conditions for the principal benefits for those over pension age, as well as addressing some of the questions which clients are liable to pose about their entitlement to a state pension in the future.
