Introduction

Many employers are still unsure of the holiday pay and leave rules. Although the Department for Business & Trade (DBT) has produced further guidance based on the Government reforms of UK holiday entitlement and pay, many employers will still be confused and worried.

Many of the previous cases such as Bear Scotland around commission and involuntary overtime still stand as part of the new UK legislation, but entitlement and the resulting calculation for irregular hours will change from 1 April 2024. This will see employers being able to re-introduce what we once called ‘rolled up’ holiday pay; albeit with some caveats.

This webinar will provide the facts around the different holiday pay and leave cases and examples on how to calculate and what should be included in the calculation.

Presented by Karen Thomson who specialises in payroll and payroll related employment law, this webinar will be of interest to HR, reward and payroll professionals both in-house and in the agent advisory community across the UK.
