Course description

The UK has long recognised the necessity of providing some form of leave to remain for those who enter the UK as foreign national partners/spouses but whose relationships break down as a result of domestic violence.

While the immigration rules provide a route to settlement under DV-ILR, many of those applications are refused and the Home Office no longer provides a right of appeal in such cases.

Presented by expert human rights barrister Lucy Mair, this webinar will examine existing routes for victims of domestic violence and remedies for those whose applications fail.
