This virtual classroom session will summarise the brave new world of digital business taxation as it affects the self-assessment client and the tax agent.


MTD is scheduled to be mandatory for individuals and landlords with income over £50,000 from April 2026 however, you can join voluntarily beforehand meaning you can eliminate common errors and save time managing your client’s tax affairs.


Presented by leading trainer Russell Cockburn, the topics discussed will include the new record-keeping obligations, potential impact on the practising tax agent, new client opportunities, and problems and opportunities with the new self-employed basis of assessment.
