- Provisions in the Equality Act 2010 on positive action in general and in recruitment and training
- The relationship between the positive action provisions and the public sector equality duty
- Interactions between the positive action provisions and the rules on direct and indirect discrimination
- Guidance from the Government Equalities Office
- The unique features of the protected characteristic of disability
- Other exceptions to general anti-discrimination rules
- Analysis of those characteristics which are not protected in law, but which routinely appear in organisations’ diversity projects
