Course description
Whilst the word ‘planning’ doesn’t feature in its title, the Levelling Up and Regeneration Act 2023 (LURA) includes a raft of provisions that will significantly change the planning system as and when they are introduced. These include changes to plan making, development management, enforcement and heritage protection.
Presented by Bob Pritchard, this 1 hour webinar considers these changes and what impact they are likely to have on the day to day operation of the planning system. It will also look at environmental outcomes reports, neighbourhood planning changes, heritage reforms, and more.
Bob has previously held senior positions in local government including the post of City Solicitor and Monitoring Officer at Leeds City Council. He is a visiting lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University and a Legal Associate of the RTPI.
