Course description

The Consumer Code for Homebuilders was in its 4th Edition having started in 2010. It was overdue for replacement, and we now have the New Homes Quality Board and its Code of Practice.

For those acting for buyers as well as developers it is necessary to get to grips with the new regime which includes a New Homes Ombudsman. Otherwise, the advice you give your clients will be less effective.

Presented by Paul Tobias, this 1 hour webinar will look at the outline of the Code and the obligatory requirements which will have to be adopted and complied with by developers and builders who register, as well as fundamental principles including fairness, quality and service; what developers need to consider; pre-completion checklist; the New Homes Ombudsman Scheme; and more.
