Every course is fully audited and quality controlled directly by the Professional Directors Association. Our courses collectively represent a comprehensive director qualification; the Company Board Director Qualification Certificate:

The quality and integrity of our courses is further recognised by the independent bodies of the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Learning and Management.

The Chartered Management Institute, the CMI, has formally Recognised our Director Training Courses.

We have achieved official Recognition from the Institute of Learning and Management as a Training Centre for Board Directors

In addition to being official courses of the Professional Directors Association, the separate courses are accredited by the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Learning and Management, as approved training courses for Board Directors. Their logos will appear alongside the logo of the Professional Directors Association, on the individual component course CPD Certificates, Certificates of Continuing Professional Development.

Every individual Course Leader is fully accredited by the Professional Directors Association as being qualified to provide Board Director and Non-Executive Director Courses. This qualification status is managed and maintained by rigorous annual assessments.

The Companies Acts 2006, CA 2006, contains seven specific statutory Director Duties. These important legal duties are collectively called the “General Duties”. The General Duties are applicable to all Board decisions and all Director activities within all UK companies.

The General Duties are different to the Statement of Director Responsibilities, which refers to the Financial Responsibilities of the Directors under the Companies Acts.

We provide our Director Coaching services to CEOs, FDs and other talented Directors. All of our Director Coaches have substantial experience as CEOs, FDs and sometimes even both. They have experience as directors across companies ranging of levels from start-ups all the way up to PLCs.

The Director Training Courses and our Director Coaching services provide all of the essential information needed for Directors and their organisations to maximise their success. The Director Coaching and the Courses are delivered in a professional and easily understandable format, which strips away and explains the jargon. As well as delivering useful techniques, best practice examples and operational guidelines.

Professional Directors Association Exclusive Delivery Partner

The Professional Directors Association have appointed Excellence in Learning as its exclusive delivery partner for the Board Director Certificate Programmes and the Director Coaching Services of the Professional Directors Association. The Board Director Certificate is a comprehensive director qualification that is fully validated, supervised and quality controlled by the Professional Directors Association.

Net Zero Carbon Emissions

We will plant enough trees for directors on our courses to become "Net Zero Carbon" personally over their lifetimes. We will also help the company to achieve corporate "Net Zero Carbon" status.

We do this by planting 100 trees for every delegate day, plus a bonus planting of 300 trees when each director completes 10 days of training or the full Certificate Board Director Course Program. We are constantly working to protect and improve the Environment.
