Painting in Acrylic Paints - Techniques & Tips (SFY) [FDF293NZ]: OverviewDraw and paint from photographs, step by step, watching tutor complete each stage first with advice.
What will we cover?
We begin with basic outline drawing with emphasis on proportions. We progress to blocking in and then layering Acrylic to create depth of colour. Adding acrylic shadows and highlights to create realism.

As our courses are taught in English, please contact us if you have any concerns about your level of English.
What do I need to bring to the first class? Will there be any extra costs?
Heavy Acrylic paper or better still mountboard cut into A4 or A3 pieces, pencil, eraser, sharpener, Acrylic paints (tutor uses System 3), brushes (sizes 2,4,6 round etc), plate for mixing, cling film, jar for water.
What can I do when I finish the course?
Perhaps join a longer 10 week course.
