Course description
This year is for students who have completed Modules One and Two, or a similar equivalent course, and will build on existing skills as well as introducing new ideas and techniques. We will be discussing and practicing contradictory elements within the design process including inspiration, creativity, practicality and technical restraints, and throughout the year there will be an emphasis on collecting ideas in a workbook and drawing as a means of communication.
Students will practice and develop their own design style, as well as gaining greater understanding of the role and the responsibilities of a designer within a design team.
