Course description
Academic Professional (Level 7 Apprenticeship)
The Academic Professional apprenticeship is delivered via in-house and offsite training through face to face and/or online lectures and includes support on the form of seminars, Q&A sessions, and coaching and mentoring for both the apprentice and the workplace mentor.
The Academic Professional apprenticeship will include units of the PGCertHE or M.Res and leads to an opportunity to apply for HE Fellowship.
Following Initial Needs Assessment, an individualised programme for the 20% off-the-job training time is agreed with the employer. The Learning Institute will provide advice and guidance to the employer on the best way to arrange and support an apprentice, and assist in preparing the apprentice for End Point Assessment.
