Course description

7 Skills for the future

This session can be delivered face-to-face for a half-day or online

Self-care is a current buzz word and can be misunderstood as either being about bubble baths and Netflix or about avoiding any kind of discomfort in an effort to be looking after oneself.

Robust self-care in today’s uncertain and highly pressured world is a necessity and the foundation of good strong mental wellbeing.

Practicing it means that we are more effective in our relationships and interactions and in our effectiveness at work. It means that we are more likely to contribute with the best of ourselves and we are operating from a healthy locus of control which means we are less likely to feel overwhelmed. This then has a ripple effect on those we interact with and manage.

The session will focus on participants’ context and input to help guide the themes presented.
