Course description
Indicative Overview
The MSc in International HRM is a one-year full-time programme designed to provide participants with a learning experience that develops the knowledge and skills required by HRM specialists who operate in a highly competitive global context.
The programme is approved by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). This provides an opportunity for those who wish to become HRM practitioners with CIPD accreditation by means of an accelerated route over one year of full-time study.
As well as the HRM modules required by CIPD the course offers the opportunity to study HRM in a global context through the International Personnel and Development module. Few courses in the UK offer this module and perspective on HRM. As well as the international perspective students can elect to study Employment Law or Employee Reward.
In order to meet the CIPD requirements for Graduate membership students must complete a Management Research Report and to do so students will undertake a work-based project of six-week's duration.
