Course description
Overview
The aim of the course is to be able to understand the concept of a trust, how to create a valid trust and to be able to advise and explain the key features of each trust structure. It will also cover the various the tax issues.
Who is this for?
Aimed at trainees and newly qualified solicitors and those who are new to the area, plus CILEX and paralegals. This course will also be beneficial for accountants / financials advisors who want to understand trusts better.
What will you learn?
- Understand the concept and creation of a trust
- Be able to understand trust taxation
- Be able to recognise and advise on the most appropriate trust for a client
PSC Elective
This course may be undertaken as a PSC elective, although it may also be attended by non-trainees.
